90 LX 5.0 Project

Well guys, I'm attempting this project pretty much by myself. This afternoon, I tackled replacing the headlight assembly. What a MF to get out! Then I finally do it and do you think I thought about bulbs? Well, I did remember the headlight bulbs but dang it I forgot the other ones and, I was going to use the ones already in there, BUT, when I took out the side markers...they were too different sizes! UGH!! So now my "demon to be" is sitting with zip lock baggies around the wires and taped all around 'em. Funny looking with no lights. Well, off to autozone tomorrow.....yippee!!

Oh yeah, I wasn't thinking fun when I was cussing it earlier!! LOL Actually it is cool getting my hands dirty, for a girl ya know. I take pride in my project and can't wait to see the end results!

You will love that car when its done and once its done you will forget how hard the work was when you were doing it. You will be able to take pride and tell everyone who asks that you built this car as to what you see in front of you

Well, getting ready to get showered and head out to the store and get my side marker bulbs and the insider corner bulbs and back to the nitty gritty of getting her eyes back in....dang almost wish it was a 4-eye, would have been much easier...lol.

Well, since my lil project, my husband has not been too happy with me when it comes to working on it. I want it on the road, he says other priorities. So while I took a 1/2 day from work yesterday, cleaned my '05 V6 for a show Sunday, then proceeded to be a grease monkey on my '90 5.0, he finally got home and was cutting the grass. He saw I was busy and the MF'er asked me to get him water. WTF?!?!?! So there is really a competition of the "bigger balls" in my house right now....BUT....he'll have to get over it. I have wanted to do this all my life and finally I get to......if he don't like it..............TOO BAD!!

How's that dedication to the stang family!! WOOHOO!!

This is the way I bought it a few weeks ago, minus the hideous purple tint. The headlight assembly you see is the old. I have replaced, got it done today and will get more pics. Huge diff in lights

That doesnt look bad at all what happened with the vert didnt buy it because of the flaws in it

Nah, didn't like the vert and decided to go another way. Got bit by the drag strip...lol. Decided to get a hatch and make it a street legal drag. It's got a straight body and only lil over 30000 on a rebuilt engine. It's been neglected and needs mechanical work and cosmetic work but I didn't think it was bad for $1500.

And what about the 10-holes? My wheels?
