Okay honestly easier to drop crossmember or raise engine??
Don't want it to take 2 hrs to change the freakin oil pan wasting to much play time and plus it's the weekend |

So unbolt both motor mounts and the tranny only has one mounting plate that goes across the tranny and bolts to each side right? So remove that as well then it all should come up?

Hmm to make life easier after I unbolt engine and tranny can I just put a floor jack under the tranny and do it that way rather than using a cherry picker? Or would this cause damage?

gonna have to have a hoist of some type and better to take the trans crossmember out, that way you can tilt the engine up in the front and let the rear sag a little bit, giving more room under the front of the pan.
Also take the drive shaft out and use a zip lock bag and a rubber band and put that over the trans tail shaft , fluid is gonna pour of it . |

Do the stock headers have to be removed as well? I am going to drain the tranny and change fluid anyways so no worries there. Is there a place to pour fluid back in the tranny or does it have to be pumped in?

raise up a bit and then un bolt the oil pan and turn it at an angle so it clears the oil pick up tube and it should slide out
