Useless metal bracket


There was a bracket attached to the driver side header almost right beside the AC compressor. Anyone have a idea what this was used for at one time? Just a plain old black bracket bolted the headers on the driver's side....

Sounds like the bracket used to hoist the engine with.

But why just one on the right side did they come factory with one on each side?? That is what I plan on using it for

Just hope it doesn't bend the header bolts

Yepper just didn't know why someone would have left a engine hoist bracket attached

when you pull it out save it.there a great tool for your toolbox.
