Starter or Starter Relay

When I go to crank the car sometimes I only get a click. I have to turn the ignition 2 or three time before it actually cranks . could a bad battery do cause this too?

make sure your main engine ground is clean and tight also. i know that i tell this to alot of people, but you would be amazed at what a corroded or loose ground will do. you'll be changing parts left and right and nothing will seem to fix the problem....check it.

I think I will get a wire brush and clean the ground areas really good , spray alittle WD-40 , then put everything back.

Would a bad battery do the same?

Mostly after sitting over night. During the day it normally fires right up.
