Braided Fuel Lines

I know Russell sells braided fuel lines that go from the firewall to the fuel rails. Does anyone sell the braided lines that would replace the complete supply and return lines? I will be welding in some thru-floor subframe connectors and was thinking of upgrading the lines insttead of rebending the stock lines. What size do most people go with?

BTW- what is the second hard line that goes down the passenger pinch seam and has a rubber hose in the middle of it? Thanks.

I don't think the rear brake line would have piece of rubber connected it as the pressure would be too much for it. I plan on keeping the efi here in CA.

I have seen the compression fittings that clamp to the steel line to provide an an fitting. What are the OD's of the supply and return lines? I figured that would provide another option for connections.

Is that the outer diameter? Both the return and supply are the same size? Thanks.

I found some other options:

or
http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...cat=434&page=1

What sizes are the push-type connectors on the fuel tank? 5/16 for the fuel supply? What about the return line?

The return line I believe is 1/4", I know it is smaller than the feed line by 1/16", so if 5/16 is correct for the feed, 1/4 is correct for the return. Just go out to the car, take an adjustable wrench tighten it around the line and then measure the wrench opening...

If you are going to go to the trouble of running fuel lines, get a new pickup that has -8 or -10 fitting on it so you don't have to worry about getting the correct connectors to the restrictive stock pickup. Or just put a sump on the tank.

Very nice but, "The pickup assemblies require the use of an external pump to supply the fuel."

well, if you are only going to run a 255 lph intake pump, don't bother upgrading your lines. The stock lines can support 450-500hp, about the same as the biggest intank pump.
