what HP are you shooting for?street, strip or both?are you gonna add a power adder?450-500 is about it with a stock block.for the size of the engine the victor jrs 210cc runners are big you are better off with the performer rpms with 170cc runners.the jrs would kill you bottom end.
for a carb get a holley 700-750 or a demon which are underated so go a size smaller like a 650

I want a good strong running daily driver. Something that runs mid 13's all motor. What kind of cam duration at .50 i had something like a 232@.50 in mind

Was thinking a performer Rpm intake aswell.

No I heard stay away from 347 for street use. Something about wrist pin to close to piston allowing alot of oil consumption

I did see a fox body with trick flow heads and was very impressed by it

whoa dude if all you want is mid 13s you can easily do that without stroking it, get a nice dyno tune and some 3.73s and exaust and intake and your there.

Well my motor has 170,000 miles on it. It uses alot of oil now but runs good and sounds strong. Gave it a good tune up when i bought it and that made a huge differance

I'd like to pull it and stroke it make it a little faster.

ok then do it right
go to fordstrokers.com the owner is a member on this site anyways, then for heads go with RHS probably 180 intake, or you could do canfeild 190s, both the best heads going right now. as for the cam dont leave that up to comp or crane, talk to a real person that you can meet and know who is doing your grind, my nitrous cam is in the mail from jay allen of camshaftinnovations.com, he'll call you and talk to you and make sure of everything you want, he'll probably hook you up with some springs and maybe some lifters. this is my dream build up but my motor is not even at 70k so im just waitin a long while then start over. you can take this build just dont mess it up.

That's what I heard. It is a strip only set-up just a 16 cube diff. I will sacrafice those 16 so I don't have to dump a quart of oil in it every week like I do now.

No power adders for me just all motor.

I was going to get alum heads. Lighter weight suppose to keep things cooler too. But you can't beat good ol iron heads done right. I'll look for them you have a link to the website.

This is currently my Daily driver so I want to keep it as my DD.

I need it to be street friendly. That is why I want to stick with a 331 I want to make a good amount of power with a 331 some good heads and cam probably go with a performer RPM intake don't know about carb yet.
