efi or carb?


whats up names matt im kinda new to forums so bare with me.. anyway here go's..i have an 88 mustang gt..stock block gt40 aluminum heads.. trickflow upper n lower track heat intake..65mm throttle body..b303 cam. stock injectors...headers into dynomax race mufflers then dumps...t5..8.8 with posi 373's... my question is since the car has speed density.. and will not hold an idle at all!.. should i toss the efi and go old school carb or get the mass air? let me know what yall think n possibly some suggestions on what i should do thanks...

i would personally just get the mass air...I doubt that cam is too friendly with the speed density.

you'll get much better gas mileage by doing the MAF conversion, but the carb will probably be more driveable and produce more power.

It really depends on what you are doing with the car...

carb is really good an cheap for high hp applications..although efi has its benefits too..they both are basically a personal choice. carb has its downfalls as well does efi.

efi or carb?


id rather have efi any day, id do the mass air conversion. Look on e-bay i bought my kit for 400.00 with a 70mm meter
