this morning on my way to school i noticed that the check engine light came on, no big thing, it does everyday, but then i look back down at it and it went off, and didnt come back on until the next drive cycle,, why would it do that, shouldnt it jus stay on

some codes aren't "important" enough to cause the CEL to stay on. have you Checked for Codes? its free and very simple

now i noticed that once the check engine light goes back off the car idles a lot better than at a cold startg, at cold start u have to play with the gas to keep it on, i think i've got a vacuum leak at the lower intake manifold cuz i used those crappy ass nylon gaskets that come with the intake gaskets
