Not true....
coming from a man from jiffy lube
Alright heres how it stands
Conventional oil can be used anytime
high mileage oil recommended after 90,000 miles
and syn oil is best between off lot to that 90,000
they say you can stay with syn but high mileage is better after 90,000 because it starts getting rid of some of the old oil and runs the car smoother as for a mustang i seen a mustang with like 154,000 and still bought syn oil

If I am reading it correctly sure.....synthetic oil can be used during any mileage on any car. I am just saying that switching over to synthetic after having used conventional oil with over 90k to 100k miles will have a greater chance of leaking oil. But yeah....nothing risk taking at all.
