as long as you dont beat it to death.there are some 11 sec cars with 4cyl T-5s in em it all depends how you drive

as long as you dont beat it to death.there are some 11 sec cars with 4cyl T-5s in em it all depends how you drive.if you did install gears in your car 1st gear will be useless

they're basically the same transmission

the gears are slightly different, but its the same thing

as long as you have the right bellhousing, it'll be fine

It will work, uses same bellhousing, but you will need a different output shaft bearing to go in the end of the crank. My buddy installed one in his supercharged 5.0, it did'nt even last the summer. I can get you the # of the bearing if needed.

The problem is the numerically larger gears are also physically larger (i.e. the teeth are further away from the imput shaft). Additionally, they multiply the torque going through the transmission. So first and second gear as well as the input shaft are more likely to break.

however, in a street car with moderate horsepower, it should be fine.

you can find a used V8 T-5 extremely cheap..just do that

Imput shaft is diffrent. Just take off yours and switch them, its easy.
