I JUST BOUGHT A 87 MUSTANG. THE CLUSTER DOESN'T WORK. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW IN DETAIL THE CLUSTER IS TO REPLACE OR FIX?

i believe so. the tach nor the speedo doesn't work and the guy says that the gas gauge doesn't work. so before i start replacing the fuel sending unit i am going to start with the cluster.

well the speedo is cable driven, so check the cable and the hook up in your trans. you should take the cluster out and look at it, make sure everything is hooked up. and like stang 94 said check your fuses.

yeahh jsut check for pinched wires stuff liek that..work your way to the fuses then look at the cable for the speedo and the sending unit..is it carbed..cause when you swap from carb to efi you need to do gas tank mods and if the guy didnt put the sending unit in right or in at all thats your reason for the gas gauge..
