gear installation

I launched my car, and it was not a posi hit. Well didn't seem like it, the right tire BAKED real good, but the left did not leave a mark, i have the stock gears, i was thinking should i just buy a new rear end with gears and have it installed? how much would it cost and which should i go with? i have about 500 right now saved up, hopefully it wouldn't be too crazy.. thanks all!!!

between the gears and a professional installation it will be $500 alone..just do that, screw the rear end..the gears maybe bad.

i say go richmond gears, but ford racing isnt bad either

3:55s, 3:73s, 4:10s

first off thats what i meant to say, gears and t-lock maybe bad, its less work to get new t-lock and gears than whole rear end itself

and hmusn WTF happend, you had a new avie like every 2 seconds, you've had none for like a week now???

it's about 50 60 bucks for a rebuild kit .. installed..

I don't know where you can find one..

I always bought new.

as far as a Tlock though..

I have one with 30k on it lying around if your interested..

long story speed...

Tlok rebuild kit from summit is $45...It comes with instructions...A shop in my area charges I believe $75 to install...

I would save and do everything at once...buy a t lok, gears, and the gear rebuild kit, and have it all done at once man.

Yeah do the gears and the t lock rebuild at the same time the limited slip clutches I got a set right now waiting to get installed that I bought from late model restoration for 45 dollars and they are Ford Racing

dude, tonight sucks! Hobby lobby got busted at 7, as did auto zone.I might go out later though. I found out the whole story about the telephone pole though....turns out some guy ramped the guide wire and almost hit some people.

nah, it was a foxbody...it seems he is a local here, but i didnt find out exactly who it was yet...But yeah, they kicked us out of the hobby lobby, we all went to Auto zone, and we got kicked out there...so people said screw it and went to the hotels/camp site...I think they might be back out later when the fuzz isnt so hot...

I still dont know what was up with that blue one...I was getting some gas and some hotties in a red sn95 vert pulled up. We met up at hobby lobby then we we all left, they didnt go to Auto zone...I might try to find them later. lol
