86 gt with t-tops


My brother in law has an 86 gt, with t-tops, it has a 4" flowmaster exhaust, It is red with a black stripe that says gt on the hood, he will sell it to me for 2500, he says theres only 6 or so of them, its also a manual, what do you think about that?

there is alot more than 6 of them made 86ttops has one and a 4" exhaust holy shit what does it have a disel J/K

bs i have one and seen many 4" flowmaster? little big for a 302 maybe 3" but probly more like 2 or 3 tousand in 86 its a good price if its in good shape pice would help alot ont thing to watch is the weatherstripping it about $500 to replace it all hit me up if you have any questions on it i no quite a bit about them iam on yahoo bigbaddurango

Little big for a 302 I would say but it probly sounds good $2500-$3500 is a good price

i am still thinking about buying that 88 ttop with a stock motor and a rebuilt trans for 3 grand......I wish i liked t tops.

apparently the person that did the work is a ricer owner..and 4" is retarded and 6" is just moronic..and oh yeah....

I checked again, its def. not a 6" tip, he said 6" mufflers sry about the confusion.

:homo ...flowmasters original 40 series muffler was only 5"...all the new ones are 4"...6" is huge for no reason..tell him to go get a tape measurer and measure it..cuz 6" muffler, 4" exhuast and 6" tips???

A mustang only needs 2 1/2 and unless you have a large inch small block motor 3" will work any thing larger will still hp from a couple articals i read and 6" tips i couldnt get in my drive way with those

yeah nothing even close to bigger than 3" you can over exhaust your car unless you have a diesel swaped in there because thats the only motor that needs a 6in

larger exhuast doesnt = more power or even more flow, just makes louder and most case's rob's some HP, the smaller diameter the more aggresive the sound..the bigger the exhuast the less wide the soundband is, a kid around here has an auto 5.0 with 4" tips and its just loud, doesnt sound that great either, i have 2 1/2 exhuast into 3" tips..more than enuff..

No, i was mistaken it doesnt have 6" tips, i think they are 4" i will check this weekend
