c4 rebuild
I am going to rebuild a c4 this winter, first time doing one, was going to pick up a kit from P.A. or B&M with all the clutches and seals, etc. Does anyone have any advise or know of any special tools out their that are needed.

C4s are pretty simple to rebuild. An easy way to do it is to take the parts out and stack them in the order that you took them out. That is the way I did my first one.

I'm pretty sure you'll need a good set of snap ring compressors/expanders. It's been years since I build my last c4/c6. Can't some of the clutch drums be replaced with ones that use more steel/clutch discs? And replace the planetaries with stouter pieces? There are other things that can be done to help reduce fluid transfer time to allow better shifting.
