my cousin picked up a 351w and he took it apart today. he knows that it has a crane cam "z" camshaft, with crane energizer rockers, and he took the heads off and he said it seems the heads were worked. we dont know about the block yet at all. but my main question is how much hp do you think he is pushing out just on that setup and he plans on getting a new intake manifold and carb so lets say he jsut gets the victor or something with a 4v demon carb. how much hp do oyu tihnk that is and would a t5 tranny be good enough for him to use. i didnt know if it would but he wants a manual trans and the c4 and c5 are both automatic right?

not sure but i think its c4 and c6 and they are auto's. I think the stock t-5 is good for 4-5 hundred hp....

yes C4 and C6's are auto..T5 can handle bout that..and is what year is the block?? my guess a 351w w/ crane cam, roller rockers, victor jr, demon car, about 350hp...maybe idk..could be way off depending on yr of block

its a 69..and it has new pistons. its completely rebuilt.

dont know if he should even run the victor man..itsa street strip car..so the victor seems liek too much.

well idk what i came out off..but id say around 350hp..but yeah victor jr's no...torker II would be good..

Wow, i have never heard of a T5 lasting up to those HP ratings...Maybe for a little bit of time...Maybe a Tremec G-force T5 or whatever its called.

4-500 hp my ass if you dont get on it they might last a while.but if you get on it they wont last long,but some longer than others

g force is rated at 500 hp and a tremec tko 600 is rated at 600 lb ft of torque
