fiberglass hood recommedations?

So I am taking my 88 Gt into paint this winter and I am going to replace my old fiberglass hood because it is 10+ years old and pretty beat up and cracked.

I have a cobra R hood from cervinis on my 89 lx and it is finished inside as well. I really like it, but I am wondering if anyone has any input on other hoods/ or manufacturers that they like. I am also considering Harwood.

Thanks!

I heard HO fibertrends is good. Just as good as cervinis but not finished on the underside. ABC Exclusive is junk. I had a 5 inch pin on hood that was total crap.

Cervinis quality is great, Glasstek hoods fit nice but the underside is unfinished, Motion Performance makes some nice fitting hoods in a variety of styles but the underside isn't finished, Harwood has some good quality, I ordered a hood from ABC Exclusive a couple years ago and it was nowhere near fitting so I'd steer clear of them.

Thanks guys, I think I am going to go with the cervinis, having a finished inside makes the hood so much nicer, definitely worth an extra $100!!

the reason i didn go with cervinis is b/c the dont make a 3 inch hood its either a 2 1/2 or a 4 and i just had to have a 3 inch

+1 to anyone that said harwood or cervini's

my mustang came with a harwood 4" that was broken from flipping up, (left hood pin off) but there hoods are awesome, and i've heard nothing fits like a a cervini's..and fuck these stupid ram airs like the cobra r svo, looks retarded, and the cobra are is just a lump in the hood, if you want real looks and performance nothings says it better than a 2-5" cowl hood!!!

You will be happy with it. The hood fits about as nice as an aftermarket fiberglass hood can and they don't require much prep work before painting either.

OK what i mean by lump is its an awkward cowl, its a wide 1" with a 2.5" ontop of it..just my opinion..
