ok so i know most of you have beat in ur cars


so what i wanted to know is i have a 92 hatch and the rear spoiler rattles so what do i need to do other than tighten it up to make it stop

are you sure its just the spoiler? sometimes where the trunk latches to the little pole in the back gets worn down and its rattles a little, thats what mine was doing so i took a piece of rubber hose and taped it aroudn it and no more rattle.....but obviously if it rattles and your screws are tight you either missed a few or its something else

tighten the screws or could possibly be the the bushing is wore out like Baine said.

i have an 89 gt hatch and i was getting a rattle from were the rear skirt (or what ever you call it) bolted on to the rear bumper if that makes sense.

it does and it doesnt...

but yeah, i had problem with hatch not closing, put rubber peice on stud and now it locks, but rattles, havent had time to look into that, but prob easy fix..

Mine did that as well (Spoiler on my 89hatch)
What I did was bought some $.30 washers and put them between the nut and bolt....easy fix
