GT40 heads, GT40 upper and Lower, 65mm TB, 76mm MAF, 1.6 rr's, F303 cam, MAC CAI, Full MSD ignition, springs, shocks, struts, control arms, subframes, 3:73's, DLs wrapped in DR's and 5spd

thats RLLY FAST for 14.5, i only ran 111mph and ran high 12s

That was before the 3.73s, M/T drag radials, PRO 5.0 and BBK SFC's
I had exhaust and FRP shorties when I ran that.

i wish i was there..my dads friend took it and his 9sec chevelle upto NE dragway..he ran best low 9s, mine ran that as best..never ran under 13 until that 1..im happy..it should be faster now..and i had cheap drag radials on it, now have M/T ET street Drag Radials..

Its been a few years so I'm doing this from memory but my stock 91GT averaged about 15.2x at 94 with 2.4-2.5 60ft times. I got roughly the same times with at least 50 runs. When I say stock, I mean stock as in from the factory including air silencer, stock exhaust, paper air filter, 2.73 rear, 195 thermostat and about 120k miles. I could never get the 2.73's to launch right at the track, it either spun or bogged down. When not at the track I could consistently launch at about 3000 with a little spin and a little feathering, at the track, it was always break loose at random.

That does seem out of whack. Must have been an awful lot of wheel spin?

13.9 with gt40 heads, explorer intake, B303 cam, 4:10s and exhaust...

as soon as i get a 3500 converter and my shift kit installed i expect to be in the low-mid 13s...

11.48 @ 119 with 1.52 60' with the 351 clevor 88 gt carbed

11.9 @ 116 with 1.65 60' with the 302 edelbrock performers and a NX 100 shot in my 89 LX

12.2 @ 117 with 1.8 60' time on 225 wide all season street tires with the 89 LX.

Anyone have a faster time on all season 225 wide street tires???
