so if this will see alot of street action the the solid roller isn't a real good choice.....in my 90 I got a 434 with a mild cam 686-675 for nitrous 250+ shot... it is barely tame enough but it's a play car for$$$$$$ runs

a solid roller will be fine for street use,it will not be an everyday driver but will just be a play toy

Solid rollers don't have to be adjusted "all the time". Spring pressures vary. Huge solid rollers require high spring pressures and you will replace springs often if you drive it often. Its doubtful you will have a solid roller that falls into this category unless you are spending big bucks on heads and compression. People run solid rollers on the street in daily drivers. Damn near every cam manufacturer makes tight lash street rollers.

doesnt matter, not a 408 builder but theres gotta be something with the clearence and issues of a 418 then..its like the 331 and 347, for same price you can have 16ci more and another 35hp or so..and w/ 5.315" rods have no wrist pin problems..

My motor in my black car was basically a 418 but it was a 4.060 bore instead of a 4.030 bore. For a street car the longer stroke is where its at. More cubes equals more low end power which is what a street car needs.
