ok im gonna buy a block around christmas time for my 408 build and was wondering what i could get a 351 windsor block out of that is worth building.i am looking to make about 650 -700 on a 100 shot but i may spray 150 after everything is done and i obtain this goal.

i have a stock 302 block bored .30 over and with b303, E7 w/ FMS 1.6 rr's and guy wants to trade me his 351w with edelbrock heads for it..but i dont want 351w..sucks for you..

Dude ,if you build it right you can easily acheive 600 on motor.

mostly strip...streets what the 347's for...

and go to the junk yard...try looking for late 60's early 70's 351s..in full size ford lincoln mercury cars/ trucks..those are best years for 351s and 460's..had strongest cylinder walls..

it is gonna be mostly a strip car but it will be driven there and driven back.

NO NO NO...not too smart...always trailor the car..learn from the experts..if you drive it there and break something on the way..that could end your day..and if you break something there...how the hell do you get it back or get yourself back if you drove up solo!!!
