spark plug gap


what are you guys running on the plug gap with a 100 shot. im gonna change my plugs and the old ones are at .040 but i was told that they should be at .035. any onfon is appreciated

yeaa .035 is about the right gap when running nitrous. but you need to get cold plugs you cant use regular ones.

how much gap on a stock 5.0 with CAI and exhaust?

on my 98gt i ran a 80shot with stock gap and 2 steps colder plug copper.

A stock 5.0 is about .54

stock is .050-.054

I would run .050 with stock crappy wires

i have ford racing wires, new cap and rotor and ignition module.

not to be mean but those wire have a ton of resist about as bad as stock..you want something around 25 ohms of resist per foot those have 100's of ohm resist per foot
