Safety issues

As we start making decent hp improvements in our car, what are some of the Safety issues we should be looking out for.......

I've heard drive shaft safety loops, Explosion resistant flywheels, c clip eliminaters, etc.?

At what point should we consider a roll bar / safety cage?

If you wanna race at a NHRA track it starts at 8pts for the cage, that means pesky door bars are a must.

I can do it I finally got a mig a couple years ago, I just dont wanna put one in. I don't wanna have that race car look just yet. plus I haven't gotten to the track yet to break into the 11s, I know the car can make it now, but I've had some problems at home keeping me away from the dragstrip. I swear, God dosn't want me to break into the 11s.

But the will yell at you for not wearing a helmet, lol.

not all that crap is a "have to" to hook up..an 8.8 with 35 spline will hold up great and who ever would use 31 spline in a 9" for all that trouble
