T-5 to T-56 swap and exhaust issues

Does anyone out thier have any advice on recoomended exhaust modifactions. Here's where Im at, I've installed the t-56 and frogetting that the T-56 Trans is longer than the T-5 I now have exhaust fit problems with my BBK High flow CAT X pipe. The new location of the trans cross member is directly in the path of where the cats should be located. Any help with my delema is greatly appreciated.

id suggest doing away with cats, but in ca you have to pass emissions, although I have seen some tunes set up where theyll pass w/out cats

Try and find a local exhaust shop to fabricate one for you, if you have to keep the cats. If not I'm with everyone else, get rid of them.

I have run with out them in the past however, road side spot checks caught me. Car was towed and 375. fine to go with my tow fees. The cats Im not worried about its the X pipe fitting. Since installing the T-56 mount sits back about 6-8 inches which has screwed the whole fitment. I think Im looking at a custom exaust

Will an H-pipe fit any different? Or would it have the same problem?
