HELP PLEASE YOU EXPERTS

this is a hard one, i had a friend drop a intake bolt into the distributer hole!!!! i was putting on a new intake and had it out, now there is a blot down there so what will happen if i leave it in there will it end up in the oil pan or will it fuck up the timing gears, ive tried fishing it out with a manget light thing and cant. so should i take all of the front shit off or just hope for the best????

well sounds like your gonna have to tear your motor down either way!!if you leave it in there its gonna screw a bunch of shit up,then you will have to buy a bunch of parts or ypu could just pull it apart and buy gaskets

pull the pan!You may try fishing it out the fron sump.thats most likely were it went pull the front oil plug and give it a shot.

It is in your oil pan, if you take the front cover off you should be able to get to it. If you run it like that, it might be fine, or the bolt might get tossed around in your engine and F things up. Best bet is to get it out!

why even ask to leave it...im going to ask my mom if i can leave a grenade w/ pin pull on the floor????

dude pull of the timing chain cover, you should be able to get if from there, if fell into distributor hole than yeah its in oil pan, and if fell straight down and didnt hit anything should be in the front of the oil pan, making the timing chain cover the cheapest and easiest entrance point, if you dont find it then, then you have to remove oil pan...rather buy new gaskets than new engine..

alright everybody good news.....i just got pissed and decided to quit, shoved the magnet down the hole......and my girlfriend walked in with the magnet and bolt on the end asking if i put it there, lol. well now i would like to know if i can just plug the extra ports on the new intake

and what is it like when you try and turn it over..a little info helps..it wont start, any suggestions, doesnt help at all..
