alot of the time you get taken on there..but i bought an 84 ranger w/ a 289 he called it..bought it for $449..picked it up one state over, got it home ran the numbers found it had a 302 on it, he said was loud, i got it running..had a cam, he said had shiny part on motor, turns out shiny was edelbrock aluminum heads, so stripped it down, turns out it a 302 bored .30 over, polished crank, edelbrock heads, crane rockers, comp cam (was like .291 dur, and .529" lift) edelbrock intake and holley 650 dumble pumper...stripped it to sell and buy my draglites..but for $449 bucks, the heads were worth more than that..stupid peolpe..
