302,306,347,351-which motor would be best on boost (turbo)


which displacement would suite best for boost on the street... and would it be able to run 10's... 302.306.347,351

You could use a 351 stroked out to like a 357 or so...It really depends on what else you plan on doing to the car and the engine...

i don't think displacement would matter all that much in comparison to compression ratio... all of those combinations can be made streetable and run into the 10's if setup right.

Boost IS all about compression not displacement. Whether its 302 or 351...he's right. Build it correctly, and you can achieve almost anything.

Bigger is better. Build the motor as big as you can afford. But like has been mentioned, to run 10s with boost can be accomplished with any one of the mentioned engines. Alot of guys in my area are running 10s with stock 5 liter short blocks with blowers.

right on about the compression but i went with the 347 because it has good torque all by itself
