iac and codes

would a bad iac motor set a check engine light,??
where can i go to get the codes pulled, i went to o reilys and they told me they stopped pulling codes

go to the aarc icon, you find manuals and such and i believe they had instructions to ck codes with an analog ohmeter

yeh but i dont have one of those and this school doesnt either, i need to go somewhere and have it done the right way cause they didnt teach me how with an analog meter

Analog ohmmeters are cheap! get a cheapy for like $10. all you have to do is read needle sweeps, not any certain voltage
