tremec t56's are only rated to 450 ft lb's of torque just some info
actually they do have one model that's rated for 550 ft/lbs.

an what does anyone think of they gear combinations for a daily driver?
2.97 1st, 2.07 2nd, 1.43 3rd,1.00 4th, 0.8 5th, 0.62 6th, 3.28 REV or
2.66 1st, 1.78 2nd, 1.3 3rd, 1.00 4th, .74 5th, 0.5 6th, 2.9 REV

you can get a 0.59 5th gear for a T5. I have one in my 89 with 3.55 gears in the back. At 70 mph it is at 2000 rpms. The fourth to fifth shift is always interesting though...

that doesnt really answer my quwstion but i guess what i'm tryin to ask is which gearing set-up is all around better thatn the other? which has better acceleration and which has better top end? which set-up would be best for a daily driver?

i know it's a lot but like i said before: i am a real newbie at transmissions
