have boss block need YOUR HELP!!! PLEASE
I bought a boss 302 short block last night. From a guy who has a storage locker across the street from my shop ! Thought it was just a bull sh*@er running his yap, but to make a long story short... I now have a free spinen boss 302 short block. (yes it has screw in frost plugs and 4 bolt mains)
Here is my ? Since I dont have the heads or intake and I would like to freshin it up. Is this a good block to build a force fed fuelie out of? What heads and intake will bolt up? I want to put this in a fox body. And I know that it would be easier to not use this boss for the project. But I would love to meld the old with the new. Boss 302 block, Fuel injection with stand alone management, And a big fat turbo= HEAVEN on earth. Maybe ![]() What can I do? What combo's can you guys think of? Or is using a boss block just a bad idea? Help!!! |

Standard 302 heads and intakes will bolt on. The boss block is alot stronger than any other factory production block.

I would look into selling it. that block may bring in a good amount of money.

afr 185 heads and a coast high performance spyder intake is a great combo for a power adder motor. the spyder intake flows gobs of air mid to top end picks up where other intakes leave off. I love mine. no more removing the upper intake when you have to do anything on top of motor. plus it looks kool and different that the run of the mill 5.0 intake.. check it out
