Trick Flow Top end kit.

If i were to get the trick flow top end kit, with the head they have with it require me to do anything to my stck pistons, like notching them or something? I heard a rumor that you have to change the pistons if you get Trick flow heads.

Just the opposite...TFS makes the 2.02 head that allows you to use stock pistons...Most other heads you have to get work done, but not with the TFS.

Well I am not doing it right now I have to pay off my credit card, but that will be done in feb. time ... Then i am going to slap that kit on the old card and get it. i figure do it all at once ya know. I am a little worried about doing it myself though, I might have a shop do it. Theres this guy i know who works outa his backyard in a 3 bay, his speciality is ford so he might cut me a deal to slap all that crap on. As soon as i get it i will take pics of everything! but it is still a few months away.

What kind of power should i make @ the rear wheels??

The only thing you will need for the sn set up is the TFS elbow. Dont forget to upgrade injectors and MAF at the same time.

+1 ...24lbers and a 80mm MAF would do you fine...

and with that kit i'd say around 280-310 rwhp..depending on supporting mods

also get AFPR, bigger fuel pump and 65mm TB

75mm is too big for only 340hp..and usually the 65 and 70mm's are better for say under 450hp...

Some of the Vacuum lines may be too short after you install this kit. I needed to buy some from NAPA. The vacuum line from the back of the upper intake to the firewall was also a really tight pull. Put it on my bro in laws car with 70mm TB, 24#, 70mm MAF an FP regulator and 255lph in tank and she really pulls good. Probably about 280-290RWHP.
