13 inch cobra brake conversion help

Hello I have a 1989 mustang and I bought it with the cobra brake conversion with the 13 inch rotors and I believe it also has the control arms also. My problem is that the front tires stick out more then normal specially the drivers side and I know this is a problem with the conversion. What I would like to do if possible woudl be to keep the cobra brakes but I want the tires in the stock location. Any help would be great.

welcome to the forums.

do you have the Stock wheels for your car?

that could be the issue right there.
the off set might be different on the Cobra Wheels.

you could try to find rims with a different offset and a deeper dish. that would bring it in back to stock width or close to it. but its just an idea

That was an option but then I would need a set of rins with 3 offsets. I would to change parts back over if possible. I was thinking of trying the stock spindles with eth cobra hubs and adapting the brakes but I don't really know much about it. Thanks

No spacers. I know the rims are all the same too. Everyone I have talked to says it is common with this conversion but I was trying to find a way to keep the brakes and have teh stock tire location but nothing so far everyone says your can't.
