what size fuel line should i use on my 408 build??im thinking -8an and what does npt stand for ''example 3/8npt compared to 3/8''

NPT (National pipe thread) is tapered threads and tapered sockets or ports, not like a regular old bolt or screw where the threads are straight. It gets harder to turn as you tighten the joint because of the shape. NTP joints usually requires a sealing compound or teflon tape. AN is straight threads but has a 37degree flare (the pipe end or socket is angled). This angled part forms the seal so it does not require a sealing compound.
