Hey, first I want to say I am new to the community. I drive a 95 cobra with a few mods but nothing special done to the engine. I am not the smartest when it comes to engines, but im learning...here is my problems.

About a week ago, it took me 20 minutes to start my car. I had power, it just wouldnt turn over. After I got it started I drove, about 10 minutes later, I was cruzing in 5th and I felt the car die. I watched the tach drop from roughly 2500 rpm to 0 3 times, very fast, and than it just died. took another 10 min to start it up again.

It happened yesterday as well as i was pulling into a parking lot in 1st gear at about 10 mph. took roughly 10 minutes to start.

If anyone has any idea what this may be I would appreciate it. ive heard a few things from fuel pump/filter to ignition...so im not sure what to do. Thanks

ck and make sure you have power at pump, make sure you have ground at pump, and see if you can hear pump running when car is being stubborn to start. if all ok...ignition problem. if not...and you have a bad ground...inertia switch. if ground and power ok but pump wont run..pumps bad

Also new to community and have a mod 95 Cobra. When I bought my cobra about 5 years ago mine acted the same way. Car would run fine then die while driving. After cooled down it would start back up and run again. Replaced Stator in distributor and has run fine ever since. Good Luck

I've had very similar problems with a '90 GT and a '95 GT... both were fuel pumps. I replaced them and they worked flawlessly after that.
