Borg Warner/Tremec makes a "World Class" T5. It has been the standard factory T5 transmission that has been put in all 5.0 Mustangs since around 1985.

Is the World Class kit an upgrade kit for the World Class T5?

Please explain why a C4 is weak. I'd love to hear this.

You are a very lucky man. You need to buy a lottery ticket.

just b/c you guys don't know how to drive doesn't make me lucky.

Talk to the guys at Tremec and they'll tell you lots of people use T5s for years behind 600+ hp cars. A lot of renegade racers use a G-force T5 for multiple seasons...

I'm pretty skilled at driving a manual transmission... Horsepower and traction breaks T5s more often that shifting. Then there are other variables like not having your shifter stops adjusted right but the major factor is horsepower and traction. I had one T5 that I couldn't break and that was in my 91 GT. Other than that I've broke hundreds of them drag racing. Countershafts, input shafts, I've broken damn near every part in a T5. You can be the best driver on earth and you will still break a T5 with enough passes if you have traction and horsepower. People have used T5s for years and those people also always have at least 2 spares with them on race day. I know, I used to be one of those people. G-force T5s are nothing like a factory T5 other than the fact they use the same housing.

Like Darrell said... Also another mistake people make and I have herd it a thousand times. " hey guys i just got a Stage 3 clutch and it grabs like a raped ape. People tend to put way to much clutch is their T5. Sure it grabs great but a stock unit is not designed to handle a clutch with so much grabbing power.. Bottom line is the T5 might work for you Ryan and I do believe you are lucky like Darrell said. They are in my opinion the worst manual box that you can use. I have had nothin but heartache over the years with them, and yes I can drive.... Ever since the beefed up Tremec 3550 and Stage 2 clutch swap I have never been happier..
