Boost Missing Need Help

I have a '94 GT with a Vortech V-2, Edelbrock Performer heads, BBK Headers, Ford Racing F303 Cam. This was all done before I bought the car. However lately I have lost approx 4 lbs of boost. I've checked all vacum lines and gaskets. No issues. Where else should I check?[/b]

Slipping belt. Look for belt dust around pulleys.

Forgot to mention but I've already checked that too. I have tried my other pully which was pushing 12psi of boost. It also has lost 4psi and now only pushing 8. I have also checked the bypass valve by plugging off all lines connected to it and everything worked normal with the same loss of boost.

I have a Kenne Bell Blowzilla, set to produce 8 pounds.. but I only see maximum of 6 on the boost gauge... this was a camshaft issue, it had a long overlap or a tighter lobe separation angle.. so most of the boost was lost during the scavenging process!! I could hear the backfire at the exhaust tip. I changed to Steeda #19 and problem solved.

Your case, I guess it's a slippery belt as mdvaladosta said, or worse: wear in the compressor vanes that cause internal leak.. but do you have a bypass valve? Did you check it?
