94-95 spindle swap on a 1990 Notch

I want to run a set of 2007 bullit wheels off of a new mustang. I have seen people running 05-07 wheels on fox's body cars. How are they doing it without rubbing (Spacers)? And if that is how they are doing it is it safe and where do you get them and what size and (Thick) and do you have to change the studs to do it. Any info would be greatly used. Thanks

I think if you get a set of thick 4 lug to 5 lug conversion spacers, you'll kill 2 birds with one stone. It will give you the right back spacing (approx) and give you 5 lugs.

I wouldn't go autocrossing with them or anything, but you should be fine on the street.

They are the same as the spacers posted above. Most Mustangs are 5 on 4.5.

yes you need to use 95 ball joints oe use washers because the threads dont go down far enough to tighten up but other then that yes you have to use the brakes as well

the rear axles will not work unless you roll your fender lip they are 3/4 inch wider but yoy can use the ranger or areosta van axles 95 brakes but cut the caliper braket so it fits over the axle and bolts to the inside instead of the out side or buy some for $200

provided you have a 8.8 you can get axles shaft here is a site with all the info i used stock 94-95 caliper mounting brackets and cut them and fliped them to the inside of the axles i can get some pics if you need them this swap will end up costing you $600 to $800 if you buy every thing but the axles new
To keep the stock rear wheel offset and drums, the '83-'92 Ranger/Bronco II Left (driver) side axle (29-5/32") from a 4cyl or 3.0L V-6 with the 7.5" rear end, or '86-'97 Aerostar RIGHT side axles (29-5/32") is what you want. They are the same rear axles, the center section is just on the opposite side when you compare the rear ends. The pumpkins are also off center unlike the Mustangs, so you will have to find two vehicles to pull axles from! You will need the drums from either of these vehicles also if you are staying with rear 9" drums. The 7.5 axle Rangers & Aerostars use 9" drums. These parts are direct 5 lug replacements for the stock 9" rear drums on the 79-93 Mustangs.

hope this help anyother questions or need pics let me know
