i seem to be getting all kinds of mis-info from my end.i was told that "i" might/ should hook up to the factory 4cyl 5spd manual trans. but if not i can get the '78 4spd manual in no prob. just need drive shaft. my intentions are (for now) to just have a nutsy everyday driver. then to get little crazier with it. so from what everyone is agreed on is that i should gut a wrecked 5.0 stang or t-bird. what about the cougar, since they were close to the same format?
