Fuel System Help! - 89 LX

I know this is my first post but I'm not getting much help else where and am hoping you guys can give me that help!

Here we go..

The vehicle:
1989 Ford Mustang
Built 351W
Stock fuel tank and pump (For EFI)
Carbed engine

The previous owner rigged the car with a Holley fuel pressure regulator that has two outlets and an inlet. The EFI fuel pump in the car runs, of course, way higher pressure. He had it set up so that it came into the regulator and one line ran to the carb and another line ran as a return back to the tank. Of course, the return line will allow all the fuel to run back to the tank if it isn't restricted and I lose fuel pressure. He restricted the line with a precision zip tie...

I need to find a bypass regulator to run this properly but I'm new to carb systems. I need some help finding the proper regulator to run this system. I've been browsing summit trying to see but I'm drawin a blank.

So the questions:

Does my stock ford EFI fuel pump need a return line or can I just dead head the system into the regulator?

Can someone pick out a regulator on summit that'll work for my application and solve this riddle for me?

Basically I need a regulator that'll put my fuel pressure to 6 PSI from somewhere around 50 PSI and provide a return line back to the tank for the EFI pump.

Any advice/help with this would be great. I still haven't driven this thing on the street

AEI-13201 around 90 bucks and it has an outlet for the pressure gauge Summit racing catalog

thats for a carbed fuel pump not one that puts out a damn shitload of pressure although it will probably work
