Probably a bad ignition switch. Pull the batter cables off.

Sounds like a bad solenoid even though you replaced it. does the starter constanly crank or does the motor just not shut off. You turn the key off and it stays running clear and normal

You need to find out why. Test the small wire that connects to the solenoid. Is it hot contstantly or just when the key is turned to start?

Ground wire on starter? What ground wire is on your starter? It shouldn't be there......which I'm assuming was the problem. The starter grounds itself to the block.

you don't ever wanna do that if you can avoid it because it could potentially fry your ecu. pull your fuses for fuel pump instead.

If u pull the battery cables off while the car is running i think it has to do with grounding the ecu. Ive done it before i knew what it could do. the car will still run for awhile, but the computer now has no grounds but the alternator is still putting out a charge... it's something like that...
