c4 trans

My buddy has a c4 trans with a 3500 stall for sale for $400. Right now i got a stock trans in my 92 mustang gt. the only mods i have are a CAI and a complete flow master exhaust system. Do you think its a good idea do get that trans or no

never looked into it but i think it might be cheaper to keep your and put one on your self....well with a shop....what do you need a stakk for....save the money and buy a stroker kit so you can break the tran before you buy a new one...lol

i hate to put my foot in my own mouth....i didn't think they were that expensive...you need to think what kind of abuse that tranny he has, has been though....I still don't think you need one...

the trans in my stang right now it gone it started going on the way to pinks all out lol. it wouldnt move until i changed the filter then it doesnt go into gear til u rev the engine to 3000 trhe c4 trans come with everything u need to the install. so i really dont know if i should do it or get another stock one

i don't think the price is that bad. you should also look into rebuilding it...might cost more but you could build some pretty bad ass c4s

i didn't look that hard but i found rebuild kits on summit for around 200 to 300 dollars..i would think the geting someone to do it put it in would be alot of dough.....

think about it before you do anything. a fresh rebuild or a used.....

well deff seems like a good price as long as there is nothing wrong with it. I have a C-4 and i love it.
