Turbo's & Centrifugal type s/c'ers make more power in the middle & top of the powerband.
Roots type & Whipples, or twin screws, make better power in the lower half of the powerband. So it all depends on what you want & when you want it. Learn about twin screw's (Whipple): Twin Screw Learn about Roots type: Roots Learn about Centrifugal s/cers: Centri's Learn about turbos: Turbos |

Dumb question, probably easy answer. Why don't I see people using combinations like whipple + turbo to cover a wider range?

w/ a turbo is takes the HP from the exhuast, meaning it runs off the exhuast..making it so the motor makes it own hp and turbo adds to it.. and a turbo is alot more adjustable than a s/c

i think a supercharged/turboed would be to much....you can make all the power you need with a turbo

maybe they make to much power and with a huge turbo id say it would have huge lag and the huge uncontrolable wheel spin
