stock dyno runs


dyno'd the car today (92 lx hatch)

198HP/272TQ

This weekend we plan on pulling the air resonator and putting on some BBK lts and o/r x pipe.

What's everyone's thoughts on removing the smog pump?

Also, what are your thoughts on relocating the power steering to the AC location?

Not bad at all. I assume its a 5 speed?

Get the smog shit out! Just plug the holes on the back of the heads good.

And yes, move the PS pump up...looks ALOT better than having a free spinning pulley there.

More like 230 crank HP...about 15% loss from the drivetrain with a T5

i thought the stock hp was supposed to be around 225 at the flywheel?

yeah, every 302 ford motor put in a mustang from 87 to 92 had exactly the advertised 225.0 hp

Not sure on what cat-back just yet, looking for one that looks similar to the stock exhaust. Most the one's I've seen are turn-downs or 3" tips.

Any suggestions?
