cam choice...


i want to bring out my 90' lx next summer.. right now im deciding on which cam should i go with.. i want one with a nice sounding idol...main reason why im buyin the cam is for the sound/idol... please help me on which cam to choose..

Damn it! Just when you ask about cams, everybody keeps slient about it. I know how hard it is to select a cam, I'm having trouble myself.

Go to Summit Racing Tech Questions setion and submit your inquiry, they should be able to answer your question in a few days.

If you want a cam just for the sound you will be sadly disapointed with the performance of the engine. A big cam in a stock engine will run like crap and make no horsepower.

Oh I missed the sound part.. I should have read your question carefully..

Darrell was right..

but a short cut answer would be Ford Racing E303

Very good sound, good performance for a stock motor.. but rough idle! It's nice to see your tachometer going up and down while warming up.

so the Ford Racing E303 is a good cam choice? it sounds nice and perfroms well?
