Hey everyone i just got a note about your site on my car yesterday and the site is pretty impressive so I decided to join. I drive an 88 5.0 I have some small head work done to the exhaust side of the stock heads, single turbo with intercooler, 30# inj., adj. fmu, 190 lph in tank pump, 3.73 gears (sucks with turbo), and i just removed the alcohol injection that was installed. Hope to switch to a DOHC soon and go with twin turbo, maybe I will see some of you hanging out in the VA area.

They make the gears way too short for the turbo. I dont stay in boost all that long...basically it feels like I have to shift soon as the boost kicks in the way it runs up.

welcome to MM..go with 3:27s or stock ratio gears...more fun to drive with..but wont launch as hard!!!

yeah i guess i could have been more clearer on the motor swap thing. On the other hand AERO engineering makes a DOHC head for the 5.0 pushrod motor if anyone is interested......a little expensive and looks to be an PITA. Maybe i will get off my lazy ass and post some pics of the turbo setup....I just dont want pics of the car in there

it really needs some beauty work.
