just kidding. losing the powersteering could be better for the track but not if you are going to be driving it on the street. just things you have to think about

Keep the damn power steering!!!! If you go to a manual rack, you'll be all..."damn I spent all that money, my car isn't any faster, and now its hard to turn".

If you are going to get a manual rack, save some money and by a 79 Mustang manual rack from Autozone for $89.99. Eliminating power steering doesn't gain you any horsepower but it does eliminate about 12 pounds or so. If you have a manual rack it will steer and drive fine. There are still some cars that come from the factory with manual steering.

I have flaming river 20:1 ratio racks on both cars. you can get the complete kit with new tie rod ends and U-joint shaft for $300 if you know where to look. The nice thing about the flaming river kit is it has more oil pan clearance, but it is a little expensive. I sold all my old power steering stuff for $40 on ebay...

Hard to turn??? Yeah if you are wearing a skirt...

The only time I have to use two hands is when I am parking.
I actually like the more direct steering feel.

putting a bigger pully will make it take less hp from the engine..

you can also the upr kit for the rearend for 599....it has double adj. upper and lower control arms, spherical bearing kit, and anti roll bar kit.

if you buy both kits its 1199....saves 100 dollars

good choice on the aje ....why dont you do coilovers in the front?it seems like your doing more of a drag suspension so id go with that ...for the back do 4 cyl. springs from an old 4cyl. mustang in a junk yard

now that u mention it the kit comes with front coilovers.....i told him i want something easy for the front and if i remember he said coilovers is, i could be wrong though, and i might not even need springs, im having a issue of the car squating so much in the rear the fender is hitting the tire, maybe has to do with the shitty shocks on it, its a newer rearend under the car like a 90ish model(well told that by the previous owner) and my brother even said the rear springs look little not like his springs

you dont use front springs with coilovers!!!!and more than likely you need new springs for the rear
