90 Vert factory spring rate?
I just picked up a 90 5.0 convertible and it had to have the stiffest coil springs I have ever ridden on. Totally unacceptable. The previous owner put Eibachs on it. During the return trip from Phoenix to Iowa, I ordered the Ford Racing 5300B setup to soften the ride. No luck. These are just marginally better and still too stiff for my old bones.
What is the factory spring rate for a 90 convertible with a 5.0? I'm definitely going to be ordering new springs Monday. I have two different sets of new springs in a box if anyone makes an offer! John |
