What slicks / size should I use

I have no clue about what size slick and front tires to use on my mustang for the 1/4 mile. I have a 302 with about 350 HP and plan on running a TCI C-6 streetfighter tranny (no transbrake) and maybe 3:73 or 4:10 gears.

Maybe I should just use stock and see if I can launch them off the rims to the guys in the tower!!

26X10.5-15 ETstreet
275-50-15 ETstreet radial
26x10 ET drag

If you cant hook with those, I don't know what to tell ya. anything taller that a 4.10 and you'll prolly want a 28" tall tire.

Do you need to use rim screws with the slicks?

Prolly not. I run em no screws, no tubes. Below 1.4 60' ya prolly might wanna add em, but for most of us we'll be fine w/o em.

So you don't even need to run tubes in the ET Drags

I've run Hoosire Quick Time Pros, ET Streets, and ET Drags without tubes. I have ET Drags on the same rims for 1 yr. now and the have only lost about 5 psi.

That depends on alot of things, mainly what tires you can get but with stock brakes i'd stick with somthing around 26" on the front.

Don't use Dunlope Sport tires, those suck.

Rim Back Spacing

Ok so I am going with the ET Drags 26x10-15 so now I am faced with the question about the backspacing on the wheel? Anyone know what this would be for a 95 mustang?
