front tire rub on 87 LX

I recently picked up an 87 lx which is sitting on stock suspension w/ aftermarket 16x8 Cobra R style wheels (129mm backspacing) with 245/50-16's and the front driver side tire rubs on the front of the fender when making a right turn.

Trying to figure out how to do away with this issue and would really appreciate suggestions!

u need the newer fender extensions. 90 or 91 are shorter to fit 16 inch ponys

Thanks for the help. I was just checking ebay and found this listing here.

In the description, it says this will not fit 87-90 mustang. Is he wrong?

make sure you get it fixed fast

that shit cuts up your tire bad

and also it can bend up your fender if you hit a bump to hard or turn to fast

235 isn't exactly a common size...

Yeah, i've actually put the stock wheels back on the front for the time being until I get it fixed.
