Aluminum Radiators???


How good is that summit one,has anyone on here used it before?I need a bigger radiator than my stock one so I am going to get one this week.Any help would be appreciated.

I was considering that one too, you cant beat the price

A quick tip that I learned......
Buy the radiator for an automatic, you can plug of the trans cooler lines if running a manual trans.

i have the summit radiator....it works great, alot better then the 3row i had b4. keeps my temps around 180

I was actually wondering the same thing. Arent they the same radiators just with holes in them for cooler lines

and if im right the one for auto is a little cheaper


im running a griffin 2-core aluminum and it keeps it in the 170's all day long, never hit 190 w/ it yet..

Autos are more expencive if they have the trans cooler in them.

I run a griffin too, I love it.

In my particular case, I did it because of dual purpose. For the extra few bucks I spent on the one for the automatic, it gives me the option of running a manual or auto trans. If I decide to swap out my 5 speed to a C-4 or AOD later, it's one less item I have to additionally buy.

I always run the manual radiator. In any performance application with an automatic you NEED a separate trans cooler anyway.
