What do you think of set up???

Well I was going to build that 306 but I have talked to the people backing me and they are interested in another setup. Its going to be a dart block set up to run about 600-1000 shots of nos. What do you think? Its going to be completely built of coarse Nice aluminum heads 1.7 roller rockers.I need some bad ass heads for that set up because it will need to go through hell and back.IT WILL NOT BE STREET DRIVEN!!!The block will be a either a 331 or 347 stroker. What kind of e/t's am I capable of with that?Rough estimate.Oh yea it should be one hell of a ride once the nos comes on

There is no way that question can be answered correctly. We have no idea what else your car has. I'll tell you this though if you are really planning on that much HP, "personally I think this is a kid with a dream post but I will comment anyway." you better have the best of everything to handle that power. I dont know you but judging on the question you asked and how you asked it I would
be willing to bet the farm you dont have nowhere near the knowledge and experience it takes to maintain a car with that much power. If you put that kind of power to a Mustang that is not set-up suspension wise you might as well flush you $$ down the drain.. Might even cause a trip to the hospital.. :lala :lala :lala

ok well you're going to have to go w/ the best of everything..i'd say carburated for sure..

dart/ canfield heads for sure, 3-angle vavle job, huge port, bigger valves, 1.7 rockers, high rate springs, titanium retainters the works..

custom cam is a must

high rise intake from edelbrock, holley etc..

holley dominator series carb, or hp series..like a 1050 or something like that

definatly a dart or world products block, i say 347 for more hp

and you'll need total suspension including 4-link, roll cage..EVERYTHING..9's is do'able w/ COMPLETE set-up..

but dont expect to be any less than $50k down after all that..

Speedstang thats about right I am going with a dart block 347 of coarse. The heads will have titanium retainer either 2.05 int valve and 1.60 exh or 1.94 and 1.60 the heads are either brodix or dart.the heads alone are running over 5,000 with everything.Yea the car is going to get a 8 or 10 point roll bar with full suspension. This is a nice project this is not an overnight thing I am about to get the dart block like in 2 or 3 weeks.I just have to get my aluminum radiator, elec. fan,and 4.10 gears for my current project.I will be working on two projects at a time because my current 88 needs stuff also.

i'd say mid to high 8's

and IMO i'd go with much steeper gears than 4.10's.. try 5.13, since it wont be driven on the street, of course

That's alot of nitrous!

Are you set on the nitrous route?

And i completely agree with Stangzilla. NOBODY on this site is going to be able to tell you shit about your E/Ts...we know nothing about the combo.

What kind of suspension are you going to be running? Tires? How about the transmission? Spray off the line? How well is the rear end going to be built?

Just think, the more the engine is built, the more the other areas of the car need to be built...

Is this just going to be another 800+ HP car running 12s. lol

LOL I know he was right it was a stupid ? when I look back because I didnt give enough info.I think with the 347 no nos I can make about 400 rwhp then dual stage 500 hp set up mabey 400 dual stage. Thanks about 1200 or so hp give or take. With the right suspension and I mean one hell of a suspension transmission etc.I can go high 8's once I get the hang of a car of that power. So it is anyones call on HP.I apologize stangzilla but you should not have said a kid with a dream I am a man on a mission.LOL

Oh and I would give the car away if I run 12's after all that because the car I have now hopefully will go 12's with not much because I am making 286 rwhp now and it doesnt have nothing next to the project im talking about.
